F.A.Q. | frequently asked questions…
Question: Is the B.O.S.S. Chair an x-ray scanner?
The B.O.S.S. body orifice scanner is a metal detector ONLY and is incapable of performing x-ray scans of any kind. The photo shown above is for illustration purposes only and does NOT represent actual performance capabilities of the B.O.S.S. body orifice scanner.
The x-ray example in the photo shows a formal x-ray image, taken by an actual x-ray scanner, NOT a B.O.S.S. chair. The x-ray in the photo shows a scan target AFTER swallowing a hand-cuff key and triggering a body cavity alert for metal on the B.O.S.S. chair, who then had an x-ray which revealed the item concealed in body cavity.
At this time, the B.O.S.S. chair is capable of detecting metal objects only. If you are in need of drug detection or x-ray scanning capabilities to physically view the contents of body orifice cavities, the B.O.S.S. chair is NOT for you at this time. Please keep in mind, the B.O.S.S. chair is just under $10,000, while an actual x-ray scanner may exceed $100,000. In addition to the cost of equipment, an x-ray scanner may require a qualified x-ray technician on-site to operate unit. Please take these additional expenses into account when planning your equipment purchase.
